What do you make of this
First cycle trying since my surgery and first cycle I had a on an ovulation test
CD 14: (BD) CD 15: BD 1 DPO: very light spotting 2 DPO: very light spotting (BD) 3 DPO: nothing 4 DPO: nothing 5 DPO: very light spotting 6 DPO: very light spotting 7 DPO: nothing 8 DPO (today): nothing
Is random spotting after ovulation normal? Never had this before when I was going through medicated fertility treatments, so I don't know what to think. I know implantation bleeding can occur around 7-10DPO, but not 1/2dpo.
I tested this morning, and it was a BFN which I was expecting, but is the fact that I was spotting something to be concerned about? Has this ever happened to someone, and they ended up with a BFP?

Days 5 and 6 sound like it can be implantation. If it was brown thats a good sign. Are you 100% sure of when you ovulated because if theres a possibility that it was sooner then thats an even better sign!

Re: What do you make of this
It's either related to your surgery (not sure what you had done) or from BDing.

unfortunately, it doesn't sound like it was related to implantation bleeding. just remember, you don't have to have imp. bleeding to get pregnant, maybe when you and your DH BD it could have irritated your cervix. but more likely, if you have been tracking your cycles, and this was the first month you ovulated, it could be your cycle just regulating itself.

Re: What do you make of this
It could be anything. Most likely from BDing or from your surgery (depending on what kind of surgery you had and when you had it). Spotting can really occur from anything.
The good thing is that it shouldn't hinder you from getting pregnant. Good Luck!!!
