Good Calendar App?
I'm still a dinosaur and use a paper planner but want to switch over to using my phone for my calendar. I have a Droid-based phone and Google calendar is the default on it. I can't stand it because it doesn't give a month view with things that are planned, if that makes any sense... if you look at the month it's shaded with different colors if there is an activity that day and you have to click on the date to see the activity. I hate having to click through, would love a calendar that has a month (or even week) view that lists the activities for each day on the month grid.
I'm sure I'm being confusing... but, in general, are there any good calendar apps out there for droids?

Have you tried different views? If I click the calendar app on my phone, I can see a full month and it shows details of each day, at least it shows the title but not the time.
(Then again, I'm running a dinosaur OS so maybe that changed in a newer version....)

There are two different Google calendars. I personally don't like the ones that included with the phone. If you go to the play store and get the other Calendar, you can absolutely select your view. My choices Schedule (today's agenda with more details), Day (just subjects), 3 Day, Week, Month and search. On top of that, i have multiple calendars loaded. I keep my work calendar sync'ed, my personal calendar along with my wife personal calendar.
calendar of my preference

Cozi gold - I used to be a paper calendar person, too, but I downloaded Cozi a few years ago using a promo code from a parenting magazine and I love it. I quickly upgraded to the "gold" version so I could incorporate meal planning and this version allows DH to also see what the schedules are. It's really helped us a lot.

Re: Good Calendar App?
I liveeeee on sunrise. It syncs to my phone, my work calendar, everything. I can even have my favorite shows or sports teams in there. When I get an email meeting request, it automatically links to my sunrise app as (tentative) until I accept or decline. I love love love love it!
