Doggiemares
Does anyones dog have nightmares? Sometimes Roscoe will cry in his sleep and shake. We usually wake him up. I feel so bad!

Re: Doggiemares
Yes. Fascinus actually used to pretend to run in his sleep & more than once knocked himself off of the bed.

Re: Doggiemares
I alwasy assume he is ENJOYING himself.
Ebs used to have wet dreams (literally) before he was fixed. Now it seems like he dreams he is running and playing, sometimes he barks in his sleep and the other day -- he was wagging his tail in his sleep! So cute.
I never wake him intentionally -- what if it is a GOOD dream? Sometimes I think - since he is so mild-mannered - sleeping may be the only time he acts tough, lol.

Re: Doggiemares
My dog has vivid dreams, she shakes her legs and stuff, but I do not think they are bad dreams. I woke her up once when she was shaking...I felt bad for her

Re: Doggiemares
My previous dog used to have animated dreams. She was a bit more of a watch dog than my current dog so who knows, maybe she had stress dreams about protecting us.
My current dog is such a mush head. No dreams, no stress because I don't think much computes in her head
