I have PCOS and are paying everything out of pocket. We have had 5 failed IUIs which exhausted all of our savings. We saw Dr. Trivax at RSofNY and although we really liked him and everyone at RSofNY I'm curious about seeing a new RE for a consult. Can you please recommend an RE who is knowledgeable of PCOS and is willing to help us even though we can't afford things like IUI or IVF??

Re: Recommendations
I highly recommend my RE, Dr. Palter at Gold Coast IVF. I really can't say enough about that office. The staff is wonderful and I have full confidence in Dr. Palter. Fertility struggles are stressful enough and the environment there is great. The are on top of everything from scheduling appts, calling in the afternoon to report your monitoring, to ordering your meds for you to handling insurance. If you have any other questions, feel free to fm me.

The reason I didn't initially respond is I feel like most REs are going to lean towards IUIs and IVF. At this point with 5 failed IUIs I feel like a lot of REs will push for IVF to be your next step. I had 6 IUIs and my RE and myself were ready to move to IVF. Besides PCOS what else has been found to be your issue? Have you done immune testing? I was labeled unexplained with my first RE and then did immune testing with my second RE and got a diagnosis.
