Shower dresses?

I can't find any shower dresses that I like for my shower at the end of the month. I wanted to get a maxi dress because my swollen ankles are quite the eyesore lately.

I bought 4 dresses from pinkblush maternity because they looked so adorable online but the floral patterns look so frumpy on me.

I've tried destination maternity and macys. Target has nothing either.

Any other suggestions? Or does anyone have any pics of what they are wearing/or have worn to their shower for ideas?

Thanks!

ASOS Maternity!

I know the PinkBlush dresses you're talking about- the pattern is a little busy. I think a simpler design would work better.

Thanks! I've never even heard of ASOS! Have you bought things from them? Do you happen to know how their sizing runs by any chance?

Several maternity dresses. Chat Icon

I found they run very true to size, though I got a few tighter fitting dresses (bodycon) and ordered a size up. I'm generally between a 4 and 6 so I ordered 6 for these so I can be comfy and they fit perfectly.

I'm wearing this dress to my shower:

And this for my maternity shoot, though I think it's sold out now.

This dress just came in on their site and seems similar to what you liked at PinkBlush, though maybe a little less busy.

Also, make sure you change to US sizing/prices. I think the default is UK.

ETA: As for PinkBlush, my friend wore this to her shower two weeks ago and she looked beautiful!

I did order this dress in navy as a back up, and it's very pretty, but I'm not sure if I'll keep it:

Re: Shower dresses?

Definitely ASOS, I agree! I have some cute regular and maternity stuff from there. I decided to keep it simple for my shower though, and actually just wore a body-con burgundy l/s t-shirt dress, and accessorized with a sparkly belt above the bump, statement necklace, black tights and black booties. I felt good.

Re: Shower dresses?

I agree with ASOS. For my shower with DD1 I bought like 6 dresses to try and returned all but the one I wore. Free, fast shipping and free returns. It was great.

Re: Shower dresses?

Definitely Asos. I ordered a few dresses from there. Sizing is true to pre-preggo size and they have free shipping and free returns.

I ordered both of these the black for a wedding and the white I'm wearing for my shower.

Shower dresses?

I love ASOS! From my experience, I size up in their maternity clothes though. I wear a 2 normally but have been wearing Size 6 in ASOS maternity. The good news is it's pretty low minimum for shipping and free returns.

I got my shower dress on ASOS too. I bought like 10 dresses and kept one. It was no issue returning them.

I wore that pink blush dress (the navy one) to mine in Pink and it was so comfy!

Did you look at any non-maternity dresses? I wore a maxi dress from White House Black Market. It wasn't maternity but still fit and looked good. Got so many compliments.

Found nothing in the stores and ended up ordering mine from Amazon. Ended up being able to use it afterwards too.

Didn't wear this for my shower but just ordered for another event and it is super flattering:

Amazon Dress

I am 37.5 weeks and was feeling giant in all the other maternity stuff I already have, and have a banquet to go to on Sat. This dress actually made me feel pretty great!
