Hi ladies! I thought this was pretty funny and had to share.

Feel free to vent about stupid things people have said to you.
I had people comment on my maternity photographers FB pics that I looked like I was giving birth to a toddler. Or 20 babies. Gotta love people!!

This asshole said the miscarriage one to me with a pregnancy I wound up losing like 2 weeks after her stupid comment. I told her I was 10 weeks, and she actually said " Congratulations! I had a M/C at 10 weeks", as she sat there with her 2 kids.
I will never forget the day she said it, where we were, and 2 weeks later when I was told my baby had passed how I thought her saying that was a sign.
Assholes!!!

OMG. I think that may be the worst one I've ever heard. Why would you say that to ANYONE, unless of course they've confided in you that they just had a miscarriage and wanted to empthasize.

Ugh this one takes the cake. I understand having the thought in your head because a M/C is a traumatic thing to go through. But why oh WHY would you say it to someone who is expecting? I'm so sorry that happened to you.
My last pregnancy someone told me not to go to a hospital with a high C-section rate because she knew someone who died during a C-section.... PS - I ended up having a C-section. Why would you say that? I don't need horror stories while I'm pregnant, thanks!
Oh a lighter note, this morning I had someone go "OMG you're still drinking coffee??" as I was filling up my cup of decaf  YES I AM, now go away lol

I didn't get much crap while I was pregnant but now that dd is here I'm already getting asked when we're having another one. As of right now, we're not planning on another one. "But you HAVE to have another! Why? Why do you care how many kids I have?
Or my favorite, said to me by both my FIL and SIL when I mentioned in passing I didn't want a second- "But don't you love being a mother?!" Yes. I'm not less of a mother because I don't want 10 flucking kids. My SIL goes on and on about siblings, which is hilarious because she has no relationship whatsoever with my DH.
People suck.

My MIL has been the only one so far... "Take care of my baby" "Let me see my baby" all of that kind of stuff. Lady its not your baby and no, your not seeing MY STOMACH. Thanks.

I'm now 33 weeks so it's less insulting now but from 24 weeks on, I heard a lot "wow, you are so big--any day now?" Why can't people just ask when are you due and NOT make a comment on how far away that is? When people asked me this question back in December and my answer was that I was due in April, they were shocked! I actually lied a few times and said February to see what they would say and I didn't get the same negative reaction.
The BEST is "Are you sure it's only one?"

I get constantly, mostly from other women who are mothers (aka should know better!) "How many babies are you having" "Any day now, huh?" "Thats going to be a big baby!" "Your belly just keeps getting BIGGER!"
So beyond rude. Not to mention comments asking when I was due after recently giving birth, again from mothers who should know better!

Omg! Yes! Idk why people hunk this is ok to ask. Pregnant women feel big enough. You obviously shouldn't the asking how many as if you think they look like there are more than one!? I had twins then a single. I was bigger with my singleton.

Ugh, I get comments about having a girl all the time because I have 2 boys. A friend actually said to me "oh, one last try for that girl, huh?" Seriously?
We've decided we will be finding out so we can plan and set up the nursery, but I'm not telling anyone that we know because I don't want to deal with the comments either way.
