a little disappointed today...
So day of retrieval, I had 25 eggs, then only 11 mature eggs, and only 7 fertilized. Yesterday I had a 5dt, and had one grade 1/2 embryo transferred. Today I found out none of my other embryos made it to freezing I called the embryology lab but nobody has called me back. I couldn't believe that none of the others made it. Praying this month ends in a BFP.

Re: a little disappointed today...
I was in the same place you are last Friday. I was shocked when none of the remaining embryos could be frozen and was convinced the transfer didn't work. Well I was wrong, it worked. Believe me I know how hard it is but keep optimistic about the transfer. I was not optimistic and only stressed myself out.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I'm so happy for you, I'm praying that you have a healthy pregnancy and baby :)

Re: a little disappointed today...
my first IVF cycle, they retrieved 24 eggs. 17 were mature and 4 fertilized. By day 3, 3 of them had arrested. They transferred the only one left. That 1 embryo is now my 2.5 year old DD.
I don't know what a grade 1/2 blast is, but I hope it's good and wish you the best!
Like in my case, it only takes 1!!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I spoke with embryologist today apparently they grade there blastocysts on grade 1-5 so a 1/2 is good. Apparently all of my other embryos stopped growing and never made it to blastocyst stage. Hopefully this little one is the one!
