1st birthday gift ideas
My nephew is turning one next week and I have to get a gift. Problem is, he is the third boy and they have way too many toys and a very small house. I thought of a gift certificates or a membership somewhere but to be honest I'm not sure it would be used. My SIL doesn't go out much. Any other ideas that wouldn't take up too much space?

Cash is always appreciated in a situation like that. Or get him something personalized if you want to give him an actual gift besides money.

What about new clothes? I have 3 and my 3rd gets all hand me downs bc I refuse to buy new clothes when we have so many but I love when he gets his own clothes as gifts bc then he has something special (and I have him in different clothes for pics ).

Thanks everyone. I really wanted to avoid giving cash. I think I'll do something personalized and maybe a partial gift card. I like buying new clothes too but feel like they think it's a waste.

Someone did this for DD1 for her first birthday, I thought it was such a great idea!

I've been giving Lost My Name books recently. I have a coupon for 15% off if you want to go that route! I also like the magic coloring books (you can get them at target) that have the markers that only color on the pages or the paint with water books. My 1 year old loves arts and crafts and these are a great way for him to be involved without making a mess!
