Has anyone ever tried Coenzyme Q10? I Just got the book It Starts With The Egg. It's researched based and so far it has some great info in it. Another site I was on the girls were talking about this vitamin. I just started it this week and I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it and thought it made a difference with their egg quality. I was on DHEA and vitamin D for all my IUIs and failed IVF but I don't think it made a difference. According to the book I was on the wrong kind of DHEA so I also got that too this weekend (the micronized formulation that I should have been using). Both the CoQ10 and DHEA are for older patients with diminised egg supply or poor egg quality. Does anyone else take vitamins or supplements that they recommend and feel have helped them? Thanks

My RE recommended that i take a prenatal vitamin along with Vitamin D3 and CQ10. Have no idea if it has helped though...

i was on high doses of it (600mg) from my chemical pregnancy with IVF 1, to my 2nd cycle (OCt - January).

my 2nd cycle was somehow worse than the first. so for me, COq10 did squat. Long term it might have benefits. I seem to be the anomaly.

I'm finding that it gives me more energy which I did read in some of the reviews on Amazon. For that alone I'm happy. Would be great if it actually did help with egg quality. The book I mentioned had a lot of great things to say about it for egg quality. But it also said you should be using it three months before the IVF (in my case IUI) and I don't think I have three months before I do it.
