I despise everything about Lena - her face, her hair, her outfit, her overall existence.
Allison looks good. Not totally in love with the midsection of the dress, but it's not terrible.

Lena is never going to be a looker and she knows it and owns who she is. She seems way more comfortable in her skin and accepting of who she is than the truly beautiful people out there in Hollywood. To be this successful at 25 is extremely impressive and honestly will outlast most women's looks. I think she's a friggen lunatic sometimes but can't help but be so overwhelmed at her accomplishments. She has my full admiration. Anyone can put on a pretty dress and get made up and go on a diet. Not everyone can do what she does and that deserves a whole heap of respect IMO.

No one is denying she has accomplished alot but have some self respect for yourself and dress appropriately. She doesn't need to be the best looking person ever but to dress like she does looks like she does it on purpose and diminishes her accomplishments. Instead of people talking about things she has done, they talk about how bad she looks. She wanted to be part of Hollywood so play the part.

She's not. She's 29. (will be 30 next month)
Still thought she was in her early 30's.

Lena Dunham is gross, I'm sorry. I don't watch her show or know anything of her work. All I know about her is that creepy stuff she wrote in her book about touching her little sister. And I don't feel like she looks very confident and comfortable in her skin. She may be in real life, but her body language/posture screams awkward and uncomfortable to me.

Agree about Lena. I think she is so vile. I love Girls, but can't stand her character. She writes her own script, so it's not like I can say that she can't control her character. And, the things she says off the show are moronic as well. The way she's been showing her vag all season, it's disgusting.

I have read quotes of those passages, though not the entire book. I think it is unclear whether or not this was sexual abuse or normal childhood exploration. I believe neither you nor I could possibly determine that just based upon the book.
Regardless, I still think she is weird.
