Toddler Dance Class - South Shore/Nassau
Hi All.. I want to sign my 3 YO DD up for dance in the fall. A place highly recommended to me offers a super cute class at a very reasonable price -- its just that it runs the full school year. I was hoping to find something shorter - just Sept - Jan. Does that even exist?
Would be looking into the Merrick, Bellmore, Levittown, Seaford, Massapequa area.
Any suggestions?

Toddler Dance Class - South Shore/Nassau
I have a friend who teaches the little ones at Legacy Dance Center in Massapequa. You'd have to call and find out their schedules though. I know they offer summer programs too.

My daughter is in Cristina's Dance Unlimited in Wantagh, she's been going since September and she loves it. I think most places are September-June and there's a recital at the end of the program.

Not sure if its half a year but i know someone who sends their dd to M&T dance in Seaford

DD goes to Techniques in Wantagh which we love. Their program runs the school year like many other programs. We pay tuition every month. There is no contract or anything. If you only wanted to have her in the class from Sept. to January you would just tell them you weren't continuing.

My girls go to Steppin N Style in Levittown. We love them. They also run September-June.

Toddler Dance Class - South Shore/Nassau
Thanks everyone. Seems all classes are Sept - June. Being a FTWM I would have to do a weekend class and it kills me to tie up every Sat AM. We'll see.

I think the costume was about $80 and you have to buy a recital t-shirt also that was about $10. All the dancers do a finale number wearing the same t-shirt. And you have to buy the recital tickets. I think those were about $20 each. Of course you are going to want to buy a picture of the class and flowers for her for after the recital. 
The recital adds up $$$. But it is very cute.

Merrick Dance Centre on Merrick Road does a summer program. I did that with my daughter over the summer last year before I started dance for a full year this fall. It was a good way to try it out. Not sure if summer is an option for you. My daughter goes now to dsd in Bellmore.
