Why are you mad??
It was totally different then In Her Shoes, but once I got past that I thought it was pretty good.

Re: Goodnight Nobody
The story is completely different than In Her Shoes, however that is not the reason I am upset. The ending made me really mad and the letter to the reader at the end plugging her books did. I felt she should have wrapped up the relationship between the main character and her choice to be with her ex or her husband. When Jennifer Weiner wrote the letter at the end, I thought it was tasteless plugging her other books, her website, and how she was going to hold out telling us about the main character's choice until she wrote another book. I truly enjoy this writer and felt misguided at the end.

I agree completely. I was ticked that the choice was not made, I was also disappointed that the murder had nothing to do with the search for the father. The story seemed fragmented to me.
