Follow up appt today to discuss the findings from the 20 week sono - UPDATE!
As I mentioned the other day, we were told at our 20 week that  has SUA - single umbilical artery, and that while everything looks okay now (I think, the doctor at the hospital went through it all so fast), there is the potential for complications.
I have my appt with *my* OB today at 5:30 to review everything and talk about what this means for my pregnancy and my care moving forward. I'm nervous and anxious, and would appreciate any good thoughts and vibes you can spare my way.

UPDATE: My doctor was great. Super reassuring, utterly unconcerned. Showed us the full report to show that other than the umbilical cord, the baby is perfect! Fetal echo coming up just to check, but I would get one anyways because of cardiac history. Then growth sonos every 4 weeks til 36 weeks - then every week. But no concerns at all. Yay! Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers.

I am now 23 weeks with the same - I was told at my 16 week sono.
My reg OB said there really is no cause for concern - he has delivered a TON of babies from SUA and all born perfectly healthy.
There is a "potential" link from SUA to pregnancy complications - but nothing conclusive. they of course have to monitor for the babies safety as well as liabilty concerns, etc..
Chances are your baby is totally fine :) Try not to worry, but sending positives vibes your way!!
