TTC # 2

hi everyone DH and I are planning on trying for #2 in the next few months. I conceived the first month with DD and tracked my ovulation using the wondofo opk.

I started tracking again this month and have not gotten a positive. I bought the CBE OPK too and have gotten a blinking face for 5 days- no solid face. Plus i am so late in my cycle I feel like there is no way I can be close to O.

Any insight or other tips? It's been over 4 years and I can't remember all the things I did for DD.

as for the CBE OPK's - you can get blinking smiley's for a few days. the first month i got it for about 6 days i think.
did you follow their guidelines? there's a little chart that says if you have a 30 day cycle start testing at day 10-11 etc.... i did that the first month and then realized i don't OV until CD18-ish, so i don't start @ day 10 anymore since those things are expensive haha

maybe your cycle has changed over the years? how late in you rcycle are you though?

I did follow the guidelines on the sheet. I guess for this month I'll just keep testing. I'm on CD18 and my cycles are normally 28-29 days. So it seems kinda late for me to O.
If I remember correctly with DD I always O'd on CD 14/15. So maybe it has changed over the years.

IMO, I find these new smiley tests far less reliable than they used to be before they added this extra feature of detecting high vs peak fertility.
