We haven't gotten our NT scan results yet, but I had a pre-eclampsia screening this morning since I had pre-e with my first. We got to see our baby again for the 2nd time in less than a week! My wallet isn't happy but my heart is! Here is our little one from today's u/s.
She wouldn't even venture a guess at gender since it's only 13 weeks, but if anyone wants to take a guess, go ahead! I've turned this picture every direction, squinted, everything...I still have no clue. I'm pretty sure there's no way to tell from this angle, but I totally tried anyway LOL.

Oh, so cute!! I have no clue on gender though! I go crazy trying to analyze my babies sonogram pictures too.

I had my doctor appointment today at 11 weeks 3 days. We were able to hear the heartbeat over Doppler, which was wonderful. I had blood drawn for the Verifi test. I'm anxious for the results. I'm in my late 30's so it's weird to hear how I'm of "advanced age" and thinking about the risks.... Hoping for the best!! Next, NT scan on Thursday afternoon!

Awww isn't the heartbeat the best part of the appointment? I wanted to take the Doppler home with me so I could listen to it all the time 
Good luck with your NT scan next week! I loved that u/s because it was nice and lengthy...we got to see so much of the baby and it REALLY looks like a baby now.

Good luck with your NT scan next week! I loved that u/s because it was nice and lengthy...we got to see so much of the baby and it REALLY looks like a baby now.
Isn't it amazing? Especially to know that they are developed that much but they are only a few inches in size.

Had my NT scan this afternoon. Everything looked normal on the sono! Two arms, two legs, brain, heart rate was 168. Baby was wiggling around and sucking its thumb!
Now I have all these blood test results coming in within the next week to two weeks…

Happy to see all the positive reports! My 16 week checkup is next week, this pregnancy is flying! And I literally have a pain in my ass!!! I hate sciatica!!!!Had it last time too :(

Have any of you told your employers yet? I told my direct mgr about a month ago because I had a lot of appts and had to leave early due to some bleeding. He announced it to his mgr and my peers today during our weekly meeting.

Got the call that our NT scan and blood work were normal! Such a relief. We are still waiting for the Verifi test results. I'm getting so anxious because I know they can call any day now.
And I haven't told anyone at work or even our parents or kids yet. Just my mom knows. We want to wait until the Verifi results are in due to my age and previous losses. I can't bear the thought of disappointing my oldest DC again, he so badly wants a baby sibling. I'm so anxious for those results!!!

Sounds very happy your test results came back normal! I am sure the other test will come back fine as well.

I had to tell work really early on. Like at 9 weeks because I was so sick all the time at work that I didn't want my boss to think I was slacking off or not doing my job when I was sitting at my desk slouched over with my head on the desk trying not to die  But he didn't tell anyone else. He let me tell HR and my peers in my own time.

Got my Maternity21 results back. Baby is totally healthy and it's a boy!!
I'm a store manager, I told my district manger a few weeks ago. We're a family owned company (25 stores) so we all see each other pretty often. I saw everybody at a meeting this week and everybody was congratulating me so I guess she spread the news.

I got the results of my Verifi test this afternoon... And all is normal! We are so relieved and started to tell everyone about the pregnancy finally. My DS cried when we told him we are having another baby he was so happy.
I asked the doctor to write the sex down in an envelope for me, and I'll pick it up tomorrow. I am freaking out!!!

Ok so is there anyone else here who does not know the sex? We didn't have any of the other testing done and the doctor won't say anything until our 20 week u/s. I go this week for my 16 week but there will be no u/s

Just wanted to update--- I picked up the envelope with the gender in it just a bit ago, and lasted only until I got home before I tore it open……
I am beyond thrilled to say we are having a healthy baby GIRL!!!
