One step at a time

You know... It's the small things that make me happy right now. I still haven't finished my miscarriage and was dreading going to my RE to get my embryo and Sperm. The thought of seeing him after that last appt turned my stomach.

I just called his office to figure out moving my sperm/embryo. Talked to the embryologist and told her I would pay the $300 shipping.

She gives me options to save the money. Out of my mouth comes, "I don't want to see the doctor after my last bad visit, so I will spend the money."

She then told me how she can have it ready for pick up from the surgery center when he wont be there so I don't have to see him and I can save the money if I want to/ it works with my new RE's hours.

Man I am in complete blunt, honesty mode! Lol.

Grateful to save some money if I can. Thankful she went into help mode when she really didn't have to.

One step closer to turning the page to a new chapter completely.

That's great. I don't blame you for not wanting to see him after that last experience. Glad she was sweet about it instead of being nasty, at least that's $300 extra that you can put toward something else.

I just had to move my sperm to my new RE. So weird to be driving around the tank. We had a serious conversation about what their job was at the new place lol!!!!! Glad you were able to set things up so you don't have to see him and you save money. I only saw the embryologist during the transfer of the tank (it was from my new RE) and then he brought it out to me. No one questioned or wanted a discussion about it which I was relieved. Good luck!!!
