Gender reveal
I think I want to have one. Any ideas other than having a cake made?
Ill know in mid June so I'm thinking of having a BBQ in our yard.

I'm in the same boat! We should find out in early June and I want to do a small gender reveal for our close family.
I really like the box of pink or blue balloons idea. You can take the envelope to Party City and they will fill a box with either pink or blue balloons for you to release.
Our other option was to hold off until July 4th for the reveal and set off either pink or blue fireworks in our backyard  But honestly, I have no self control and I can NOT wait that long to find out

We did silly string, DH and I found out ahead of time and I went to the store and bought enough cans for everyone and took the caps off. If you didnt want to find out, I'm sure you could do the same where you bring them the envelope and they'll give you the cans with no caps.
It was a lot of fun to do!!!!

PA - we were in the area since we were visiting friends. It's about 1:15 hrs from me. Gave the sales guy the gender in the envelope and he handed me the fireworks with no label on it.

We did a BBQ in the yard as we and did balloons in a box  it was great. (I'm trying to attach a pic but I can't seem to get it to work)

A friend of mine went out and bough silly string cans....bought both colors and gave them to a friend with the gender...only one friend knew..it was really cute. Look it up on youtube there are a bunch that are really cute.

pinata, silly string, balloons (either release from the box, or i've seen a black balloon filled with either pink or blue balloons and then you pop it to reveal) I've even heard of a couple shooting a paintball gun against a paper target to reveal the gender

In addition to the ideas posted, I've seen a bunch of black balloons taped to a board and one is filled with pink or blue paint. You (or your guests) throw darts to pop them until you pop the lucky one.

Im not preggo yet but I think that I will do cupcakes. Ill have everyone over, hand out the cupcakes and have them bite in at the same time. Only 1 person will have the colored frosting inside. If not that, then I like the black balloon idea.
My cousin shot glitter onto a canvas that had spray glue on it.
