If you need a full sheet cake, only BJs has that. Costco only has 1/2 sheet cakes

I've only had Costco cakes and they are delicious! Also, if the combination of cake/filling is not on the order form, they will special order for you at no extra charge.

I always wind up getting BJs because they have so many more decoration choices, licensed stuff particularly. Costco has maybe 10-12 designs they use. I think they both taste the same.

I like Costco much better! I know you didn't ask, but Stop & Shop, at least the one in New Hyde Park, is my favorite bakery by far!!!

Really? which Costco? They have always told me that they cant change it- its just what is available.

I know it wasn't an option but I got DDs Christening cake at Stop & Shop and it was so pretty and delicious!! Everyone was asking us where we got it!

I've ordered both and think taste is pretty much the same. BJs just has more decoration options.

Stop and Shop's cakes are amazing! We got a 1/4 sheet cake for my daughter's first birthday and everyone kept asking where we got it. It was a yellow cake with the white traditional frosting. I brought in one of the paper plates to show them the theme and they matched the cake design perfectly. Best part - $21.99!

They are my favorite as well - followed by Costcos and Stop and Shop. BJs are good as well.
I used to work in catering and thought the supermarket/wholesale club cakes tasted better than the expensive ones lol.

wow, they really matched your design? Which S&S? I would love if they could match a little bit of my younger son's robot bday plates onto a cake. I used the S&S in new hyde park for my older DS bday cake & they were a mess. They didn't even have a pen for me to fill the for out, I had to dig a crayon out of my bag to fill it out.

Really? which Costco? They have always told me that they cant change it- its just what is available.
Melville. We spoke with someone in the bakery dept and they told us to just write what we want on the ticket. If you order, make sure you speak with someone first to make sure they still do that.

Have only had BJs but love them. Super reasonable, taste great, great options -- you can have them screen a photo on free or choose from their book which has great designs. We have done it for 3 parties now

Farmingdale! When I say they matched the design, the plates had butterflies and flowers on them - they had both drawn on the cake and did it in matching colors as the plates/theme.

I have had both, I am a BJ's member and like their cakes. I had one from Costco and I have to say it was much better it wasn't so overly sweet like BJ's.
