Running groups/clubs
Any one know of any in Suffolk? I find I'm skipping lots of days because I don't want to run alone - I don't feel safe

Maybe inquire at your local running stores. I think there is one in Farmingdale and sayville. I know my local running store has a running group. My town also has a running group. I am in western nassau, so my town is too far.

Check out GLIRC... within that club, there are smaller, local running groups.

Sayville Running Club has a group that runs on Tuesdays I believe (check with them bc it may have changed). my friend goes every week.
