Stims- tummy or thigh?
I was instructed to start my injections on Fri night- Lupron, Menopur and Gonal-f. I was given the choice of the tummy or thigh and do all 3 on the same side and then switch sides the next day. I've done them in the tummy. So far not too much pain, a slight sting from the Menopur but I am getting terrible bruising. Any tips? Also, did you find that the stomach or thigh was better? Thanks.

Never even tried the thigh
It's it doesn't bother you, just keep doing what you're doing

I did all stim drugs in belly. I think it hurts less there. The Menopur will sting less if you go really slow.
I've done injections in my thigh for intramuscular and belly is better.

I have done 3 fresh stim cycles. I did two in my belly and 1 in my thigh. I don't remember thinking the thigh was any better than the belly or vise versa.

I always did tummy injections. Just keep moving them around. It's only a short time.

First cycle I did the tummy. menopur on one side and follistim on the other. I was bruised badly. probably because I was going too deep, or pushing too hard.
2nd cycle I did menopur and lupron in the tummy and the follistim in my upper thigh. I felt with the pen for some reason it was easier going in the leg.

i always did my belly. i never thought they were terrible there. I always thought the trigger that goes in your butt during ivf cycles was the worst

I always triggered in my tummy, too. Only PIO was in my butt...thank you, DH!

Never did thigh.
For Menopur, I know a lot of people complained of burning. But I ended up taking an ice cube and putting it on the spot of my belly for like a minute; just enough till it feels numb.
Then I pinch the fat, insert the needle and slowly inject the med.
No burn at all. The bruising you might not be able to prevent. IVF IS really a Pin Cushion game.
