Stopped feeling kicks
This is my second pregnancy and I'm 20 weeks and I'm not feeling kicks anymore. They were never consistent at this point but I felt them here and there. The past day or two nothing. I'm sure I'm just being nervous for no reason but if any one had any reassurance that would be great!!!! When did you feel them consistently with number two?
Number 1 I didn't feel anything until 22 weeks but I don't remember when I felt them consistently throughout the day.

Re: Stopped feeling kicks
My kicks weren't consistent for any of my 3 pregnancies. I would go a day or two and not feel anything and be worried like you. They got more consistent from like 26 weeks and then Inconsistent again toward the end. Call your dr if you want a sono to ease your mind but I'm sure everything is ok. I know how it makes you feel though. My Dr office would tell me to have juice and lay on my left side for a while to see if I felt the baby kick.

Stopped feeling kicks
That's tough this early on. Chances are it could have to do with baby's position but calling your doctor is the only way to be sure. I called at 27 weeks and 35 weeks bc of lack of movement. First time she was moving away but I couldn't feel it, second time she was in distress and needed to be out asap.

Re: Stopped feeling kicks
At that stage they were pretty inconsistent for me- I could go a few days feeling nothing. Even further along there would be a day where I'd feel nothing and freak out, only to be kept up later that night with her kicking like a crazy person. Try not to worry as long as everything else seems fine (no cramping/bleeding) but if you're really concerned, call your doctor. At least they can do a sonogram or even just check with the Doppler for the heartbeat.

Stopped feeling kicks
Thanks, everyone!!!! My friend has a home Doppler so I am going to borrow it later. I have my 20w scan Thursday so I going to try and hold out. I know I am being paranoid :/

Re: Stopped feeling kicks
It's tough because you're still early on, but I wouldn't take the chance. Call your OB and go in today. In my second pregnancy, I knew what I was feeling and once I started feeling kicks, I felt them on a regular basis.
I'd rather be safe and get POM than worry.

Try drinking something full of sugar like OJ - then lay on your side. Hopefully you will feel something to put you at ease. For me they are very sporadic too.

Re: Stopped feeling kicks
My first and third kicked non-stop.
My second not as much at all. I would sometimes go a while without feeling much movement and it always made me very nervous.
But now my 2nd is my most rambunctious child - by far. Guess he got all the rest he needed in the womb
