when can i stop sterilizing btls?
i feel like i'm friggin cleaniing and sterilizing all th time.. when can i stop?

sooo.. it's not necessary to sterilize after every feeding?
i sterilize like 4-5x a day.. when i've colected enough bottles and my pumps..

my ped said just running them thru the dishwasher was fine. no need to boil or microwave sterlize.

I sterilized between each feeding by boiling  for I think 3 months when my ped said it was ok to stop.

I sterilized every breast pump part between pumping and all the bottle for the first 3 months. Now I run them through the dishwasher.

you don't have to sterilize bottles anymore. its just what our mothers tell us to do!

I sterilized only for the first week, then only if something was new out of the package.
HOT water and soap is sufficient.

I only sterilized them once a week when I did it ... but I stopped at around 2-3 months.

When did I stop? I don't think I ever really started I sterilize the first time, then that's it. HOT, HOT water and soap it is. Although I do sterilize all the pieces to my pump because that can get nasty.

just stop! give them a good wash with very warm and soapy water and throw them in the dishwasher every couple of days!

I've never sterilized bottles.
ETA: I sterilize them out of the package, that's it.
