I loved sleepovers as a kid. We always had so many. Some fun ideas:

-Art Projects. They have kits and things in Michael's so you don't even need to come up with your own ideas. Just find sets you like. Or if you liked themed ideas, you can make dreamcatchers (its like string and beads and feathers) or you can get fabric paint and let them decorate their own pillowcases, if you are letting them borrow pillows!

-Make your own ice cream sundaes. Different flavors, different toppings/candies.

-Movie. You can also do popcorn or snacks with the movie.

-Dress up/Fashion Show: They are still young and would probably love to dress up together and maybe even pretend to walk in a fashion show.

-Musical Chairs or Freeze Dance or some other kind of just dancing to music type activity. I remember we once made this one room completely black and then brought in a ton of glow sticks. That was fun dancing in there.

-Board Games!!

ETA: I see it is just her and her friend, so only two girls? You can still do the above but it also might be nice to make and decorate cookies together. You can also build a big fort/tent together and let them play/sleep under that. I feel like it's actually a lot easier with two, lol.

Build a FORT!
totally loved it.. threw some pillows under it and they giggled like fiends.

I set up the TV for them to watch a movie and eat ice cream under there.

I do it every time there's a sleep over. It's tradition!

We make our own pizzas for dinner as well.

I use a snack tray and put out paper plates with sliced apples cheese, water and pretzels as snacks when she arrives. They think its fancy to be served. Ironically its from xmas and was on sale post xmas but no one seems to notice or care.

I always have fresh fruits with whipped cream like strawberries, peaches, kiwi and cantaloupe.

Breakfast is mini waffles toaster style with my eggs, bacon and cold orange juice, milk and apple juice. Mini croissants with crème cheese as well as the fruit.

As an added bonus during dinner I use a cheap dollar store find plastic mini pitcher with tea. So they can pour themselves. They just think that's awesome. And usually ask to use it as tea service later.

We also buy glow bracelets for night time and crack them at 'bed time' cause god knows they won't SLEEP.

RULE is however, in my house you must call your mother by bed time and once you brush your teeth no one eats or drinks (any other than water).

We have tons of nail polish to do nails in every color too!
