What do I need? BTDT moms

Trying to figure out what I will need supply wise for DD2. Most of the big things I can reuse like play mat, exercauser, toys, etc.
I know I will need new towels, bibs, bottles/nipples (EBF DD1 so never bothered to get more than 3 newborn bottles or nipples), nursing cover and pumping essentials since I will go back to work at some point after the baby arrives.

What else is essential? Also, for those of you who had multiple levels in your house, did you keep a bouncer/rocker/swing on each level? I will have the bassinet in our room, and currently have a bouncer, but I was thinking about getting a swing or something for the basement. That's where Dd1s playroom is so I know we will spend a lot of time down there.

Thoughts?

I honestly got almost nothing new...maybe a bottle brush and some new bottles/sippy cups but reused basically everything (sheets, towels, bibs, clothes).

I had a bouncy seat, swing, exersaucer, jumper so I did keep a couple of things on each floor.

I got barely anything new, aside from clothes because they were different genders. I EBF so we didn't use bottles often at all but I got a few new ones for #2.

My big purchase was a double stroller. Other than that we bought "big girl" furniture for our older child and moved her out of the nursery, which the new baby took over.

Is there a reason why people buy new towels and wash cloths?

I would resuse towels, bibs, sheets if they wash fine. If they have no smell after being washed, no reason not to use them.

I saved everything from my first child (long ago!). I will see what the condition is and decide, but plan to resuse all if they seem fine after washing.

I was planning to buy new towels because DD1 is still using the ones she got when she was born. She got 6 and is down to 3. 3 is fine for DD1 but won't be enough for 2 kids. The fabric really is starting to thin on the ones she has left so they will have to be replaced soon too.

I spoke to DH about getting an additional something for the baby to sleep in while we are in the basement. he brought up some good points I didn't think about so we are all set!

Thanks!

I was wondering do you need to buy new pumping supplies? Does it like break down over time? I was thinking of calling the company to find out but wondering what you ladies thought.

I'm getting a new pump, bottles, pacifiers, a breast milk warmer and mini fridge to keep in my room for night feedings.

I got a new monitor (I had an audio one for DS 1 and got a video monitor and 2 cameras), a double stroller, new bottles, bibs and wash cloths.

I also borrowed a Rock and Play from a family member (they weren't out when DS 1 was born).

I had two bouncy seats already from DS 1 and a swing and I spread them out around the house so there was always someplace to put DS 2.

Reusing:
* gender neutral clothes
* bottles
* big ticket items (swing, rocker, play gym, pack n' play, car seat, stroller)
* Boppy

Buying new:
*Bibs
* nipples for bottles
* got a new pump through insurance
* pacifiers
*some new clothes.
* 1 new sheet. The one's we have are in pretty good condition still.
* Extra camera for monitor. My son's getting ready to go into his big boy bed and honestly, I don't trust him yet lol.
* 1 new towel and washcloth. We have 3 for my son and I don't mind using "boy" towels for this Chat Icon

I have 3 levels (basement, main, 2nd floor) and I only have 1 of everything. The bouncer and rock n' play are easy to bring up and down.
