Re: Dress and Shoes

I don't love those shoes with that dress - but I LOVE that dress and it looks amazing on you. I think i'd go w/ something less strappy, or a deeper color. It does work, but it's not as good as it could be Chat Icon

I exercise 6 days a week. I do cardio probably 6 times a week for 30-60 minutes and I lift about 3 times a week. My main form of cardio now is cycling (I used to run 45 miles a week, but my pelvic floor is not as good as it used to be post-DS). At the gym, I watch youtube spin classes to ensure that I am getting a good workout - I also ALWAYS wear a heartrate montior. I just got a road bike so I try to get outside 2-3 times a week before my DH goes to work.

I also incorportate Kayla Itsines Bikini Beach Body cicruits. I really love her arm and leg workouts - you can do them at home and they only take 30 minutes. I did the 12 week program and now I just pick and choose the workouts that I want to do.

I am trying to get better with diet. Because of this, I stick with the same things EVERY day except on the weekends.

Breakfast - half a cup of oatmeal with 1 tbsp of PB and fruit (either a banana or berries)

AM Snack - Apple with 1 TBSP PB OR Veggies with Almonds

Lunch - Grilled Chicken on half a pita and a spinach salad with veggies and balsamic vinegar

PM Snack - Yogurt, pretzels, OR fruit

Dinner - Free for all - here I will pretty much eat whatever I want (quesadillas, burgers, chili, pizza, stir fry, etc). I make sure to also have a veggie and a starch as well

After dinner snack - I have the worst sweet tooth so I usually have either >1/2 c ice cream OR a Dole Banana Dipper.

I am a grazer by nature so I often do not stick to this ideal plan. I feel like I snack a lot as I make dinner - that is really my downfall. I will also steal some of my DS' snacks/food (goldfish, cherrios, pretzels) if he lets me!

Dress and Shoes

I dont love those shoes with the dress... BUT LOVE the dress! I think something dressier would look better or a deeper color. Maybe even black.

You look great!
