what color is your DD furniture/are you considering for DD furniture
DD1 has an antique white set. It's beautiful but I want something else for DD 2. I am so drawn to white. I am considering an vintage white set that is close in color, but a totally different style.
What color is your DD's set?

what color is your DD furniture/are you considering for DD furniture
I wanted an off white for my dd but the set we loved didn't come in an off white. We got a dark wood and the back of the crib has champagne colored tufting. The nursery colors are light pink, ivory and dark brown. I thought I wouldn't like the dark but I am in love with it!

We have an espresso set from our two older DCs. I love the look and think it'll pair well with all my ideas for DD's nursery - gray, ivory, lavender, pink.

I went with gray. I went back and forth between that and white, but I felt white would show scratches more. I actually got my set from target and I love it! I did change the knobs to pink glass ones too.

I love white furmitre for little girls. I think dark wood shows scratches and nicks more. I'd do an creamy / off white set. That's what I actually have in my bedroom lol.

I LOVE gray furniture right now but there aren't as many options as I would like. We have cherry wood for DS and I HATE it!!!! Dark wood shows WAY too much dirt!

I did white for DD #1; white and pink nursery with light green accents.
For DD #2, I got espresso furniture to go with the lilac and white nursery.
The girls are only 17 months apart so I had to buy sets for both.

It was really hard to find grey furniture I liked, too. I wound up purchasing a set from buy buy baby. Their customer service was HORRIBLE, but the set is gorgeous.
We don't have the tall dresser- just the crib, nightstand, dresser and hutch. We also have the conversion kits.
This is the Munire Brunswick set.
ETA: We did a whole pink and grey chevron theme for the nursery. It came out gorgeous.

I had a VERY tough time finding the gray furniture. Mostly because I didn't want to mix and match from different companies (I was afraid of getting pieces with different colors/shades of gray). Also, babies r us had a nice one, but it was insanely expensive.
The set from target only came with a dresser, crib and night stand. I didn't want the night stand, but I did want a chest. Luckily, I found a matching set (also at target) that has a chest. Image Attachment(s):

First set I bought was off white. Second set is gray - it's hard to tell from the pic though.

DD has white. If you love white, I don't think it matters that both of your girls will have white furniture.

Another reason I chose gray is because I'm not a huge fan of white furniture for boys and if I decide to have a second and its a boy they will have to share a room for a bit. Also, I have white kitchen cabinets and I feel like they're always dirty lol

We chose gray/taupe. It's the Naples Collection from Dolce Babi. It's called "gray satin".

We originally got a medium wood color for her crib set but "upgraded" to white when she was 3, I am so glad we made the switch. IMO it's timeless.

We had cherry brown for DS and will be using the same set for DD. However if I had my choice (read: extra $$ to spend  ) I would choose an antique white.
