How much do you pay?
How much do you pay your nanny? More soecifically if you are home while nanny is there and he/she is more of a mother's helper. Nonidea what the going rate is and I am looking to hire. Tks!

How much do you pay?
I'm starting to research this and per the fb site chilscare of LI they said the going rate is between $13 to $20 based on your needs.

$12-20 depending on if she is legal.
We paid $15 for similiar 4yrs ago. We now pay $20. She cooks and cleans for us too.

We have paid $17-20 an hour for legal.
There unfortunately is no correlation between rate and quality.

How much do you pay?
I paid a girl $15/hr she was cpr certified. She didnt cook or clean. Just reheated stuff or made a sandwich. She would put toys away that they took out but thats it.
I had another girl $12/hr... she was terrible. She barely paid attention to my dd. I actually found her reading a book while my dd watched tv. She was unreliable canceling on me last minute all the time. I told her I no longer needed her.
I find on care.com the people with any qualications and based on your needs (do they need to be picked up droped off; cooking; cleaning; etc) the range was $15-25
