UGH SWELLING
I thought I escaped it this time. Didn't swell at all during the heat wave a couple weeks ago, and with DS I started swelling at like 28 weeks. But lo and behold, 35 weeks on the dot, and boom no more ankles.
Anyone else lost their ankles?

Re: UGH SWELLING
I had bad swelling at the end. I tried to decrease salt, increase protein, and drink even more water.

Re: UGH SWELLING
That's about when I started swelling, too. I would come home from work and they would be like balloons. I think that's the only time DH ever felt truly sorry for me was seeing my feet and ankles look like they got hit with a cartoon mallet.
ETA: And nothing helped- no amount of soaking them or keeping them elevated- even staying off my feet at a certain point didn't help. They were just huge. I had to buy a cheap pair of flats for work the last few weeks they were so big. Hang in there, you're almost there!

Re: UGH SWELLING
I am beyond cankles. I have thankles. I can't take it. I have been wearing flip flops to work for the past month and quite frankly I don't give a crap about it. I look nuts in my business suits and flip flops.

Re: UGH SWELLING
Yep, I'm 29 weeks and mine look just like that. It's the heat and humidity. No amount of water or propping them up has helped and I'm forever in flip flops lately. I'm praying as the weather starts to cool down, my sausage feet and cankles will also slowly deflate.
