Please come in if you have been to any of these places - Hawks Cay in the FL Keys, Cocunut Bay in St. Lucia, Beaches Turks & Caicos

I am looking for opinions on these three places. I'm sure the Beaches in Turks and Caicos is great, but I'm honestly not sure we can afford it! Cocunut Bay looks similar, but half the price! And I've always wanted to go to the Keys.

We are looking to go in August. DC are 5 adn 8 years old

I went to Coconut Bay back in 2005 I think. It was fine. It was in need of a re-fresh then and I think they have done a bunch of things since then.

IMO it was just as good as any other resort. We went because it was a travelzoo crazy cheap deal.

I went to Beaches in Turks years ago for a wedding and I thought it was not great.
For that kind of money I was expecting 5 star and it was not.
The room was beat up, the water in the shower didn't work right half the time, the toilet had issues flushing.
Oh and I thought the food was barely edible.
This was about 10 years ago though so it may have changed and gotten a refresh.

I just thought for the money it was a HUGE ripoff

We were in coconut bay in June. Loved it! We were with a whole bunch of kids so don't know much about their kids activities. They had a nice looking kids club with its own water play area. But there are water slides and two pools outside. Just be aware that they don't have much of a beach-it's ok but def not LI levels of sand. The water was heavenly though-I could have floated in it all day. It is definitely not beaches quality in terms of amenities or food or rooms. But it was a fraction of the cost and we had a great time. Pm if u have more q's.

We also went to coconut bay in June and we had a great time. The kids LOVED it! It was very family friendly and the kids club was great. They loved the water slides and the pool. The beach was very nice but had a lot of seaweed. The setup of the resort is great but needed a little TLC buy it didn't bother us at all. It was very reasonable and I thought the food was good.
