2ww-I caved and tested
I know I shouldn't have tested but this my 3rd go around of IVF and I just couldn't wait. I had a Day 5 embryo transferred 10 days ago. I just toom a HPT and got a clear 'not pregnant'. That's pretty much it, right? I mean my beta test is in 2 days. There is no chance that all of a sudden there will HCG showing up in my system, right?

I've heard enough stories where you just never know. The digitals aren't as sensitive and it could start out as a low beta and rise quickly where right now you're not showing as pregnant but still may end well. I guess prepare for the worst and hope for the best? I'm sorry, hang in there!!

Does that clear "not pregnant" imply that you took a digital? From one early tester to another, you can't take a digital that early. Digitals require more HCG and aren't as sensitive as some of the dye tests on the market.
I always save my digitals for after I see a line.

Yes it was digital. First Response Gold, whatever the hell that means. Ugh. Should I go get the one with the pink lines? Or maybe I should call my doctor and ask him to test me 'early' so I can know for sure?

10 days after 5day transfer is 15 dpo
You "should" get a positive by now. BUT if you implanted late, digital wouldn't pick it up yet. go to the dollar tree and get one of those.

Thanks everyone. Beta was negative so I guess 3rd time is not a charm. Getting really exhausted by this. First 2 tries we had implantation but never advanced beyond 8 weeks. This time we didn't even get implantation. By the way....the last two embryos were PGD tested. We only have one more. I'm 41 and think I need to start thinking of other options. Thank you all for your support.
