Braxton Hicks or what?
This is my second pregnancy, and I went into labor on my own with my first. So I think I know what labor feels like, and I definitely know what BH feel like. But last night I had something kinda in between? I don't know. FTR I'm 35 weeks 2 days now.
Last night I started having what felt like intense BH but lower down in my abdomen, and also in my back a bit. Not PAINFUL but definitely uncomfortable. They would last 45-60 seconds or so, then would happen again anywhere from 5-15 min later. This went on for a couple hours. They never really increased in length or intensity, but walking around/changing position didn't make them stop either. For about half an hour they were happening every 5-6 min or so, but then they got more spread out.
TMI warning: DH and I did earlier in the evening, and he was also massaging my ankles for me because they've been sore, and I know there are pressure points in the ankles. Eventually the "contractions" subsided. But it was odd.
Thoughts?

Braxton Hicks or what?
I was always told "your body has to practice before you can enter the game". It might not have been BH but it could've definitely been early labor. That can go on for a few weeks. Hopefully LO stays and cooks a little longer. Next time try to drink some water and lay down on your left side to see if they go away. I was also told, they have to be consistent with timing...like 10 minutes, 10 minutes, 10, 10, 8 minutes, 8, 8, 5, 5, 5, and when they are under 5 minutes apart for an hour to go to L&D. I had back labor with DS, it will literally take your breathe away!

I had intense BH starting at 35 weeks. Sometimes 4 in an hour. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water. My water broke on week 38 exactly. It's most likely your body just practicing. Good luck!
