Meet Toby, my new paraket and a vet question
This is Toby. A male parakeet that is probably just about 3 months old. I got him tame in just a week. I love him!
If anyone can recommend an avian vet, I'd appreciate it. (just in case we need one)

He's very pretty!
We use Island Exotics Veterinary in Huntington for our rabbit.
Dr. Hoefer (the head vet) is an avian specialist (we always see lots of birds in the office) and it is a predator free office.
We've been thrilled with the care they have given our bun over the years.

I used to use Dr. Monaco for my bun when I lived in Nassau. I didn't like that the clinic had no one there overnight when my bun needed surgery. Everything worked out fine, but after that I wanted a vet that had someone in the hospital overnight after a surgery.
For basic care, he was very good though.
