Prenatal Yoga

So I had plans to do prenatal yoga this time around to help with getting me ready for a VBAC but I ended up being SO sick the first half of my pregnancy that I couldn't start it. So I haven't been able to do it but I'm feeling better. I'm having back pain and restless leg (SO BAD) so I was hoping maybe some yoga would help. Do you think it's too late into the pregnancy to start this now? I've had a few complications so I don't want to hurt the baby in any way but just looking for something that will help.

Thanks!

This is GREAT to hear! Thank you! Did you find workouts online or did you buy a DVD? I bought a DVD at the beginning of pregnancy but I didn't get to use and then my DH packed it away!

Re: Prenatal Yoga

I started to go to a place in Wantagh. I didn't want to use the Dvd only bc I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly. The price is good too

Prenatal yoga is very low intensity and you can do what you're comfortable with. You can definitely start now!!

Re: Prenatal Yoga

how often do you all do prenatal yoga a week?
I did yoga a few years ago and loved it... wish i could have done it more often bc it helped my back so so much. I want to get into prenatal yoga, but wondered if i should do multiple sessions a week and how many etc?
