pregnancy question

HI I am so happy to be able to write here but I am also nervous, I had a mc in Jan with ID twins and I am now pregnant again - 8 weeks 2 days. I saw the HB at my last visit - Is it true that once you see the HB the chances of MC decline? I am planning to go for a HB check just to make me feel better next week. Thank you - Shari

My doc told me that if you see the heartbeat at 8weeks, the risk of miscarriage drops dramatically. I wish you a happy and healthy 9 mosChat Icon Chat Icon

Re: pregnancy question

I felt the same after my m/c. It is VERY true that once you see the HB, you're pretty much in the clear with just a slight risk of m/c or stillborn after 20 weeks.

I had my first sono at 7.5 weeks and I started to worry that my baby was gone since I never really "felt" PG besides the growing belly. But all is good as of yesterday.....she was squirming up a storm!

Re: pregnancy question

hi everyone and thank you for your replies. Iam just so nervous that I will MC again, for instance, when my three year old acts bad and I get mad at him or if I argue with my husband I will have a problem. I hope all is ok with me. - Shari
