I was with the NYCDOE for 16 years. I definitely got to a place where I should have looked for a different school but realized I didn't like change.

I've been at one of my current jobs for seven years; I've been out of college for eight.
My dad has worked at his job for 50 years.

My record was 8 years! I could have stayed there forever and just sailed through but left that job to challenge myself more.

What's the longest you've worked at a company? Even if you've changed positions, or if the company changed names/merged/bought, what's the most number of years you've been at the same company?
At my current job over 8.5 years. No plans to leave, but the company was sold so we are all out on 12-31. Sucks

going on 15 years... I'm 36, previous jobs were basically high school jobs. I don't have any plans to leave here any time soon. I've had 3 "roles" within the company, each about 5 years.

What's the longest you've worked at a company?
I was at my last job for 10 years but that was through acquisitions and takeovers and then I stopped to be a SAHM. My DH has been with his company for 20 years and I told him he has another 20 to go lol.

been with my boss since 1990 BUT I did leave and go somewhere else for 3 years before I went back to work for him.
Also, we've switched firms. We've been at this firm for 9 years now.
