Try bouncing on a yoga ball for an hour. I did that and it caused me to lose my mucus plug.

I have! Many times over the past few days. I've lost my plug. IN 2-3 big chunks, the last one early this morning tinged with blood so I KNOW it was my plug. I literally have done every little thing in the books. I just have to wait the kid out.

It wouldn't be so bad if I was just waiting, but I'm having irregular, somewhat painful contractions, so I'm waiting AND it FEELS like I'm in labor but it keeps stopping and starting.

Keep walking and drinking water. S/He is coming soon, I promise! We're all rooting for you to go on your own and here for you to vent or ask for more suggestions. Did you try the Evening Primrose?

Can't :( it's contraindicated in people with cardiac/blood pressure issues.

Raspberry Leaf tea? I drank it everyday, 3 times a day for a week. Not sure if it was a coincidence but I had her on the 7th day. Good luck!

DAMN!!!
My co-worker swears by scrubbing the kitchen floor. He said that's how his ex went into labor with both his kids. He told my coworker and it worked for her. He said it has to be like all fours, scrubbing with a brush - old school.

OMG get this baby out!

I feel your pain. I had contractions starting at 27 weeks. They came and went until I delivered at 38 weeks. The last few weeks they were constant, timeable and painful. It was torture. I would be up for hours timing contractions only to have them stop. i actually went to the hospital at 36 weeks and I was 2cm and having contractions on the monitor. The nurse when I was leaving asked how close I lived bc she was sure I would be coming back that night. The next 2 weeks were the longest most draining weeks of my life. I almost lost my mind. At 38 weeks I said to my dr that I couldn't do it anymore. I was physically and mentally drained. I went to the office to get my membranes stripped and my water broke during it. I could have kissed the doctor!!!!! Hang in there. I know how hard it is. Praying baby comes soon!!!!!!!

THANK YOU. This is it exactly. Physically and mentally and emotionally exhausted, in pain, frustrated. I'm gonna ask to have my membranes stripped on Friday. I'll be 39+2.

Aww you poor thing!! I keep coming back on here to check this thread in hopes that you have an update saying you're in labor. I'm praying your appointment on Friday goes well and the membrane stripping sends you right into labor Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thank you! I understand I haven't past my date yet, and I wouldn't mind the waiting so much (I feel strongly about going on my own and not being induced if at all possible.) But the pain is constant. I literally have labor contractions daily, that then stop and start. It's like groundhog labor. My doctor last Friday told me to stop commuting to the city because I could go "any second". And yet here I am. Last night was bad. I was 100% convinced that was it - I was in real pain. BUT THEN IT STOPPED. So I sat up for two hours waiting waiting waiting for the contractions to get close enough together...and then they stopped. It was awful. I was in tears. I'm ready to let them induce me, and I really don't want to but I don't know how much more my body can take. 12-24 hours of labor? Sure, I did that. I can do that. But a week of it? Two weeks? That's excessive, I think.
