Refinishing floors with water based top coat
Has anyone chosen water over oil base when refinishing floors? I am hoping the odor will be lower when using water based finish. Does anyone know?

Re: Refinishing floors with water based top coat
We refinished our wood floors with a water based finish and were told that's what most people do now.
We had the luxury of not living here at the time because we had a month lag betweeen closing on our home and moving into it, but we visited to see the progress while that and other home improvements were done and the smell was not bad at all. I think with refinishing the floors it's dust that's the bigger issue. Be sure to replace your air filters before and after.
