I'm turning into a silent basketcase
Ever since my first bad appointment where the soo tech didn't see the baby, I have been silently worried every single day so far. I'm 18w this week and so far every appointment and test with my new doctor has been perfect and amazing but I can't shake this fear. Every time I go for a sono I freak out in my head that something will be wrong. I have no reason to think anything is wrong, I just keep thinking that something bad is going to happen, and then I am afraid that even thinking that WILL make something bad happen. I feel like I can't even bond with this pregnancy because I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Maybe once I start feeling the baby I will relax, but I have a tilted uterus so the doctor said I might not feel the baby as early which makes me worried!! I just want to feel at ease and I know it's all in my head

It's normal to feel that way. I will say, though, once you start to feel the baby, you will relax a bit. Those kicks will remind you that you have a little human growing inside of you and s/he is a-ok! Hang in there, you will bond with the baby and soon enough you'll be holding your little miracle.

Totally normal. I was the same way until I felt the baby move and that gave me some reassurance. Hang in there! I am sure everything is ok but totally normal!

Just remember to breathe. Sounds like anxiety. Some people have bought the Doppler so they can hear the baby's hb at home since they were as you are explaining. Is this your first? Did you have any difficulty conceiving? I know that sometimes brings on added stress.

I felt that way with Jillian a lot!
yes once you feel them move your fears will lessen a bit!
Obviously once you get past your A/S it will also help!

I was like that at the beginning. It definitely lightened up once I had my anatomy scan. Everything will be ok.

Re: I'm turning into a silent basketcase
Can totally relate, dealt with infertility for years and got pregnant on our own right before a IVF frozen transfer. I am 27 weeks and i feel her so it makes me feel so much better. All appts are great all Sonos are normal but still can't help it my self. Another thing that helped also was getting a doppler until I felt the baby.
