Re: Where did LO sleep starting from Day 1?
For DD 1, she did a month in the bassinet in our room and then transferred to her crib.
For DD 2, she did 2 weeks in the bassinet in our room and then moved to her crib.
For DS, he did about a month in a RNP in our room and then a week of the RNP in his room before moving to the crib.
My first two hated the bassinet so I never used it with my third. My third loved the RNP but I was paranoid about him getting hooked on it and not transitioning well to the crib so I moved him out of it.

Rock N Play. We tried the crib the first night and it was a nightmare. DS eventually transitioned to the crib without an issue.

Our dd is 3 years old and has been sleeping in her crib since day 1... Best decision we've ever made!

Re: Where did LO sleep starting from Day 1?
DC #1 was in the RNP for 3 months and then we transitioned into the crib. It was a bit rough for a bit b/c I think he liked the incline of the RNP. Eventually, he got used to it. DC#2 we were planning to put right into the crib but I ended up with a C section. So it made the most sense to use the RNP again. After I healed DC had a bit of a snoring issue and I just wasn't comfy transitioning into the crib. I believe we made the complete transfer after suffering through a horrid sleep recession phase at about 6 months. For DC #3, whom we are TTCING right now, the game plan is to try for the crib right away again but have the RNP on hand.
