Do second time parents have the option of getting a new breast pump through the insurance company?

It depends how long ago you got your last pump
My kids were 15 months apart, so I was not eligible for a new one. My insurance policy needed them to be 3 years apart. Call your insurance co and ask.

I would think it depends on your plan.
I never got one from insurance for any of my pregnancies. And even though I had a preemie in the NICU, my coverage for pumps was for a manual (yeah right), or I could rent a not so great electric despite a doctor's rx for a hospital grade pump. It sucked. So I say call your insurance company to check.

Same for me but I know not all insurance companies cover each pregnancy

Covered for one with each pregnancy. Must be purchased before baby is 12 months of age.
