need to do something awesome tonight for my kid...
all her friends are going to a girl's neighborhood to trick or treat and she didn't get invited. She tried two other friends to come with us, but asking this AM was obviously too late.
was thinking of taking her and her sister to some spooky houses, but is there anything else that would make her day??????

Just kidding (sort of). I think the spooky houses are a good idea! Or you could go out to a nice dinner. Not very spooky, but I bet restaurants are empty and may even have special Halloween menus.

This is a very scary haunted house, so unless your kids are teenagers, I probably wouldn't take them.
Sky Zone is having a Halloween thing tonight
I personally would just take them trick or treating tonight on your own.

That's the plan. And I don't think the "missing" invite was done on purpose, I just want her to not harp on it... I want to take them to dinner too after to switch things up a bit. :)
(And their dad did the schmitts farm thing a few years ago and they were terrified. They are 11 and not quite ready for that yet. I am though!)

How about hibachi after? We do that on Halloween sometimes!
