please dont move- Physical Therapy - Bellmore/Merrick
I broke my ankle (in 2 spots) and the top of my calf at the end of September. I ended up with surgery, including 6 screws in my ankle. Needless to say it has been 5, almost 6, weeks of misery as I'm trying to recover (I have an 8 month old DD, so its quite challenging as I cant carry her around, stand on my own etc.).
Long story short-- I'm due to get my cast off soon and although I still have many weeks of no walking/non-weight bearing (probably at least another month untl I can TRY to walk) I believe I will be starting PT soon to start gaining flexibility in my ankle once the cast comes off. I used Orlin and Cohen for my Dr and they are located at various places -- I generally have seen them in Lynbrook and Woodbury. I know the Woodbury office has a PT associated with them, but if possible, I'd like to go local to avoid having to travel a lot.
Does anybody know of a SPECTACULAR physical therapist or group in the Bellmore/Merrick area? It's really important that they are great as I want to get back to normal as quickly as possible and not limp etc.
ETA- and one that specializes in ankles/legs would be great!

It's Massapequa and I am not sure if you are willing to travel that far. I used this place years ago for an ankle injury and they were absolutely phenomenal.

My husband had back surgery about 6 years ago and really loved bellmore pt on Jerusalem Ave.
