this does not mean he is involved, to me it just means he has them for the afternoon. IMO :)
I father or mother who never smiles, in general or when with the kids makes for an unhappy childhood.

He looks miserable or depressed or hung over or strung out in every single picture I see of him lately.
No judgement, I mean, he's going through a lot I am sure- but he never ever looks happy.

eh, if i had a camera in my face every time i got out of the car with my kids i think i'd look cranky too!
The little girl looks so much like her mama. They're cute.
