12 year old birthday today... Chinese restaurant recommendations!
I'm driving myself nuts! What Chinese restaurants are "fun" places for kids? We do hibachi all the time, do not want that this time...
any place that makes it a fun experience for the birthday girl???????

Re: 12 year old birthday today... Chinese restaurant recommendations!
Do you mean Chinese or Hibachi?
If you want a nice eat in Chinese restaurant, Orchid in GC is nice. But it's not "fun".
If you want to do a Hibachi, those are typically more fun, change your title of the post to Hibachi.

There's a place in St James called Ancient Ginger. It's small but cute. They do a happy birthday thing while hitting a gong. LOL

I do NOT want to do hibachi. We live right near one and go all the time...

Honestly, the food is delicious there. I like it so much better than "regular" Chinese food. And it's a nice atmosphere and I am sure they would sing Happy Birthday etc

I hadn't been to a PF Chang's in probably 10 years and ended up taking my 2 year old DD there a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. So kid friendly and the food was so good. We've been back like 3 times since then!

And if you go, PF Changs takes reservations right on their website. I'd definitely make a reservation. We went last Saturday and it was an hour and a half wait- but we had a reservation so we were seated immediately.
