seating for rockettes christmas spectacular

Am I better off in the orchestra towards the back middle or 1st mezzanine to the side?

We were in the 2nd mezzanine on the side and had a great view (plus the seats were layered so the people in front weren't blocking my view). I'm not sure if orchestra is flat - which would mean you wouldn't be able to see as much. Oh, and being up higher, we were able to take in everything as a whole b/c there was stuff going on each side in addition to the stage (and on the ceiling) so we could see things easier.

We just went on Wednesday night, and I bought 2nd mezzanine, Row K, very last row. LOVED it actually! We have sat in orchestra and had our view blocked from people standing in the aisles waiting to be seated AFTER the show started (total joke one year). The other night, my DD could sit on the back of her seat or stand and not worry about someone behind her. You could see the WHOLE show from up there, and it's a big show with a lot of light projections that extend beyond the stage to the left and right. We had a better view there than in Orchestra IMO. The tickets were $35 with the MCD code, which was great!

*Just read Funky's comments...totally agree!!

We were there this week and sat in the orchestra - middle towards the back. The seats were good for us adults but my kids view was blocked by the people who sat on front of us - plus like the others mentioned there were several people who arrived late and there was a lot of hustle up and down the aisles. I did think that if we go next year I would opt for orchestra near the front right so the kids could see Santa more up close - more $$$ though. Have fun - its awesome!!

The past 2 years we have done orchestra in the middle/towards the front and it's been great. I always get aisle seats so my DD can sitbthere if someone in front of her blocks her view. I wouldn't sit in the back orchestra, too much going on with people going in and out. I'd pick 1st mezzanine out of your two options.

Just went yesterday and sat in Orchestra Row G section 5 I think. We really liked our seats.

I agree with the other posters that said 1st mezz. DS was able to see even with people in front of us because of how the seats are angled. There's a lot going on around the stage and being in the orchestra makes it harder to see everything.

We always do aisle also, BUT, it totally sucks when they are trying to seat latecomers, and they are standing in the aisle for 15 minutes. We had a horrible experience with that one year. The usher was really nasty about us asking them to please move because we couldn't see.

I'm looking to purchase tickets as well. I'm not able to use any of the promo codes I'm finding! Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Do I enter the code on that page where I'm selecting the seats...where it says "Enter Offer Code"??
I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

We used BBOXNOV from Broadway Box. The fees from ticketmaster were almost 100 for 5 tickets so we purchased them direct from the box office and cut out the fees.
