Faint positives, now bleeding, bloodwork later this week
Tested faint positives using Wondfo and $ store brands with FMU at 10dpo, 11dpo, 12dpo but the line wasn't getting darker each day. I was having my classic pregnancy symptoms after suspected implantation (had spotting at 7dpo). 12dpo I started spotting brown and a CBD was negative in the late afternoon. 13dpo is today and I woke up to what seems like the start of my period but no cramps, but I still have a faint positive on a wondfo. I feel like my symptoms are gone too. My doc had me come in to do a sono just to make sure it wasn't ectopic - it isn't. If pregnant, I'd only be 4w today and it's too early to say anything conclusive from the sono. Doc wants me to do bloodwork later this week and i'm scheduled for another sono in 3 weeks (which I think will be pointless).
I'm not optimistic about this at all. I'm pretty sure this is a chemical pregnancy but it's such a mind f*ck, especially coming off a MMC a few months ago. Mostly venting, but looking to hear of anyone with similar experiences and what the outcome was. Thanks!

Unfortunately, it sounds like it may be a chemical if your pregnancy tests were not showing positive.
It's WAY too early for a sono. Did they draw blood for hcg and progesterone checks? That's where you should start. And then repeat bloods in 48 hours.

Numbers for a Beta to compare is the best option. Good luck

Re: Faint positives, now bleeding, bloodwork later this week
I'm so sorry, but it sounds like what happened to me with my chemicals. It happened to me twice. I got bfps that only got a bit darker, then got lighter and I started bleeding. My bloodwork showed decreasing betas so my doctor said it was an early miscarriage.
I agree with the pp about having the bloodwork done and repeated 48 hours later. Did you get blood drawn today?
I know what repeated loss is like. It's so awful. But my doctor said it was likely just random chromosomal errors, and there is hope for the future.

they're drawing blood end of the week. if i did it today i wasn't going to be in town to have it repeated in 48 hours due to work, so it's pushed out a few days.

That shouldn't matter. You should have the blood drawn ASAP and repeated whenever you can, even if it's more than 48 hours. You can still see an increase or decrease, and if it's 4 or 5 days later, you can still calculate where your beta should be.
Honestly, your OB sounds a little kooky to me...

definitely have my period, and a solid BFN today so i probably won't even bother with the bloodwork unless they plan to test for something besides hcg? i don't see the point now.
