Cotaught classes

If you coteach classes, what's the ratio of general ed to special ed?

I'm a cluster teacher, and I'd say most co-taught classes are between 1/4 and 1/2 IEP students.

this is correct as by law it is.not supposed to exceed 40%. if it does, your school is technically out of compliance unless they provide additional staffing.

Thanks!

In one section, I have 11 SE, 1ENL, 1 declassified and 8 general ed.

In my other section, I have 12 general ed and 7 SEs.

I didn't know if there were firm ratios that were required to be followed by law. I teach with a special education teacher.

SEVEN SE kids have been added to my roster since the beginning of the year since they were improperly placed.

OMG - they just added another one to my large section.

12 SE, 1ENL, 1 declassified and 8 general ed

This is getting ridiculous - it is a HUGE disservice to ALL The kids in the class.

ETA: I would also like to note that these kids have a working memory in the 60s. How does guidance think this is environment is benefitting them?!?!?!?! It is SO frustrating!!!!
