One just opened right by my house and it is drive thru. I have never really been. What are some of your favorite menu items? And how's the coffee?
Are you in Selden? I saw one opened by me and I haven't been yet. I've only been once, but people I know rave about their soups and their bread bowls.
Can't wait to try it.
Yes I am in Selden. I can't wait to try it either. My son wants to tey the bread bowl soup which sounds delicious!
Well, howdy neighbor! Maybe I will see you in Panera. Can't wait to try some of these suggestions.
I'm within walking distance of there!!! I have one right by work and were addicted. Ive never had anything bad there!
I didn't know there were so many Selden people here. We should all meet up some day

I know I am in the minority since I'm on page 2 of this thread, but I think the whole thing is kind of meh for the price.
The other day lunch for 2 people (2 pick twos and 2 drinks) the bill was 30 bucks. It wasn't worth 30 bucks.

Drive thru? I never knew Panera Bread had any? Where's is it?
Love their wild rice and chicken soup and their power sandwiches. I don't remember the name but there's one with avocado, bacon, and I believe turkey...yum!
Never mind, I just read ur post. Must check it out when I'm out with my 2 little rugrats and in a rush!

Panera Bread
I always get the pick 2- BBQ Chicken Flatbread cause it's my fave and then I do Fuji apple salad, broccoli cheddar soup or mac n cheese.
When I was pregnant, for some reason I could eat a few things at Panera that didn't make me violently ill (I had HE and couldn't eat anything). The nicest girl ever worked there and knew me and that I hated onions so she always went to the people who prepared the food and told them "NOOO onions, she will get SO sick, she can't eat anything so make it good!" I will be forever grateful to that awesome young girl at the Bellmore Panera.
ETA: The giant chocolate chip cookies are amazing.

Panera Bread
I love their sourdough bread and the cobblestone. Other than that, I have only tried their squash soup and a soup they used to have, I think it was called black forest mushroom... delicious. I've tried other things at conferences and meetings etc and I didn't love it

Love their autumn squash soup. It's seasonal so if you want to try it do it soon.
Me too!! I had it today again. So good!
Also love their mac n cheese, broccoli cheddar soup, and even their chicken noodle soup.
Used to love the Mediterranean flatbread but don't think they make it anymore.

I'm with you on that. It's pricey for mediocre food.
Plus once time I went there with DH and a friend and we all got really sick afterward. Like it almost became the poop scene in Bridesmaids type of sick.
Haven't been back since!

Re: Panera Bread
For those that like their soups, but aren't too keen on their prices - BJs sells a bunch of them - broccoli cheddar, tomato, chicken tortilla. I buy them all of the time!!

It's definitely pricey for what it is. And as I mentioned earlier it's super high in sodium and not the healthiest choice. Some of it's ok, some is eh
