really sad
i have my 12 week appt tomorrow and my husband can't go. and i asked my sister if she could go and she can't either. so looks like i will be going alone :(

i'm not worried per se, but always a little worried i guess. but i'd just like him to be there for it, and i know he's really upset to be missing it.

Same. DH only came to my amnio (obviously) and the appt where we got the results of the amnio and found out the sex (they also did the anatomy scan at that one but she wan't cooperating so if not for the amino results we wouldn't have found out the sex from that anyway)

my DH only came to my 20 week scan and the amnio appt. He wasn't even there for the amnio results.
I ended up having weekly appts from 28 weeks on so for him to go it would just be too much.

I don't think DH came to any appts with my DC2. He worked in the city and my OB was on LI. I didn't think twice about it.

Aw good! I'm glad he's getting to go! My DH came to every appt with a sono (there were 4 or 5 total) and I know he would've been bummed to miss it. And it IS nerve wracking- even if everything is going well. Good luck and enjoy it!

DH only came with me to the big ones- first sono and at 20 weeks. My dr was only open 8-5 so it was hard enough finding time for just me to go, let alone both of us.

Dd #1 he came to everyone. This one it's just dd and me based on dh's work schedule but I send him texts and pics after every appt. My dd tells dh it's her baby and I'm just growing it for her. She also tries to hold the sono pics hostage.

It was great! The tech said everything looks good, and it was so cool to see baby floating around and swimming and stretching out its teeny arms and legs. But it was also weird to know that I have a person swimming around inside of me and I can't even feel it! It was funny - when they started the exam the baby wasn't moving and I was concerned, but then as soon as the tech started pressing more with the wand the baby perked right up and was flipping around as if to say "hey ma, tell this lady to stop smooshing me!"
And I got a really good picture of his/her profile!
