Do you still wash them? Some say triple washed.

Yes, because my grandmother once told me that she read a story of someone who didn't and died.

I'm sure she left out some details, but I don't want to die that way & have my grandmother think I didn't listen to her!

So funny you posted this today. Just last night dh was washing and squeezing out handfuls of spinach before putting them on his tacos. I told him I never wash it and that it's prewashed but he continued. All I'm silently thinking is for the last almost 10 years I've been feeding you this stuff unwashed and you've survived, why are you being such a weirdo right now.

I don't wash them. But if I open the bag and it stinks, I toss it in the trash.

If I rewashed bagged lettuce, I would just buy regular lettuce and wash it. Save $
I buy bagged when I'm being lazy and it's on sale

The thing is though, what could have been on there that was strong enough to kill a person, but would have been mitigated by a quick rinse in the sink, kwim?

I do because my friend opened her bag Dole's triple washed salad and there was a dead cricket inside with the lettuce!! If she hadn't opened it to wash it again it could have been her lunch!!!

I don't wash the bagged Dole salads, but I do wash the boxed spring mix or baby arugula. I've seen critters in there... a lot. I think it's because they're organic

I never did wash them but I don't buy them anymore. I got tired of the recalls.
